This is a GREAT joke from our pals at Google.

Google translate for animals takes what your dog, cat, bird, or ferret is saying to you at any given time. Think it is a joke? Well your probably right, but hey try it out anyway.

You can find it now on the Android Market.

Ruff ruff, errrrrrrr ruff! [Translate it yourself]

Droid 2.1 Walk through

Posted: March 31, 2010 by werandroid in Video

Thanks to the guys of Android Central, we bring you a quick walk through of the Droid with 2.1 update. Enjoy 🙂

I know that your device is with you all the time and some may consider it your girl/boy friend but in your mind you want someone to hold and care for you as much as you do for them. The people over at Match.com feel your pain now awesome Android user and have released their application on the Android Market today!

With the Match.com app on your device you will be able to see your matches, browse favorites, send winks, send and receive messages, and upload profile pictures right from the device’s camera! That sounds great if you are willing to shell out the $19.00 per month they want for a subscription.

If you would like more information on this application feel free to check it out on the Android Market or on Match.com’s mobile page.

Over 1,000 application developers were surveyed by Appcelerator and the findings are as real as it gets. 81% of the devs want to make or will be making an Android application for your device!

What may be of any interest is that with devices like the EVO 4G and the Galaxy S more devs should be on the way from other platforms. One thing that is a little concerning to them is the fragmentation of the Android OS. Google has mentioned that they would like to take care of that with the up coming “Froyo and Gingerbread” updates.

T-Mobile MT3G Fender in “Limited Quantities”

Posted: March 31, 2010 by werandroid in Uncategorized

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls it looks like the MyTouch3G Fender edition will no longer be on the T-Mobile Android front for long. Today on the official T-Mobile US twitter T-Mobile announced;

” The myTouch 3G Fender LE is making its final encore! Get it while limited quantities last– check your local TMO retail store for details.”

You can take that as, ” Oh noes! No more Fender edition!” or like the rest of us and think,” What else could be on the horizon for magenta?” If you remember the rumor mill working a couple of months ago you will recollect the MyTouch Slide. There is nothing that says this for sure but oh do we hope.

Either way you look at it the MT3G will still be around just its flashier brother (or sister) will be leaving the pool.

Simon over at AndroidSpin is on to something here. While we can’t do a comparison on the EVO and Droid just yet… here is what it could look like in the future. Thanks to AndroidSpin and WireFly.

Plus I am using this as a test, enjoy 🙂

Pre-order your HTC Desire with Vodafone!

Posted: March 31, 2010 by werandroid in Uncategorized

Vodafone looks like they want to be the end all and be all of Android carriers. They will launch the HTC Legend (on pre-order now) the Google Nexus One and now the have announced the HTC Desire. The last of the four major carriers in Europe decided to add their name to the list, which includes; T-Mobile, O2, and Orange that gave the Desire a home.

For those that don’t know, the Desire has been compared to the Nexus One but with HTC Sense UI and an optical trackpad. Like the N1 it has a 1GHz Snapdragon, 5 MP camera with LED flash, 3.5mm jack, GPS, WiFi and a 3.7 AMOLED screen.

If I was a “Droidhead” and living in europe I would jump on this Voda-boat and ride it for a while.

What do you think about Vodafone carrying the Desire, Legend and Nexus One? Is that too many of the “same thing” or do you think they have something to it? Let us know in the comments below.
