Future EVO owners, no talk and data at the same time = FAIL!

Just when you think it couldn’t get any better for the big screened, fast processed, and over all sexy Evo 4G you get hit with one of those timeless press releases;

“If you’re using 4G for data, you can’t use CDMA for voice. Currently the only way to do simultaneous voice and data would be through a third-party VOIP solution. However, this is not do (sic) to strict hardware limitations, so it’s possible this could change with future updates.”

Limitation? What limitations? Just make the device run an application with VoIP… right? Oh wait, more VoIP less talk time. Less talk time less money in Sprints pockets. Sprint cannot take any less money then they do now.

I hope this gets resolved soon, it would be sad to see such a great device become impaired with a carriers wishes… >:)

    I think you need to look at this tweet from Sprint:

    “Voice+Wi-fi=Yes, Voice+3G=No, Voice+4G=Still TBD, still being tested.”
