Paid apps appearing on Canadian carriers.

Well, it is about time Canadians are able to purchase apps from the market! A few weeks ago Rogers turned on the full function of the Android Market and now it looks like Telus joined the ranks. The Android Market has many paid apps which were available to the U.S., Japan, and Europe but now can be purchased by the citizens of the frozen tundra. If you ask me, this has been LONG overdue! Right now there is no word on any other Canadian carrier turning this feature on, but don’t be surprised to see them doing so soon.

YAY for Canada! How do you feel now you can purchase apps? Let us know in the comment section below.
