Rumor: GIGABYTE G1305 Codfish is really the Orange Boston? Maybe…

Posted: March 31, 2010 by werandroid in Rumor

Guess what we heard through the grape vine – er um or dare I say the “Orange” tree? The Bluetooth SIG has granted the GIGABYTE Boston with a bluetooth cert. and the eagle eyes of the Unwired View caught it.

What is speculated is that the Boston will find it’s way to Orange sometime soon and will brandish the 1.6 flavor of Android, but we wont know untill we know. What we do know is that the Boston has  GSM and HSDPA connectivity (900/1900/2100 MHz), a 3.2 inch HVGA (480 x 320) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, A-GPS, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU, and 256MB of RAM.

Although not the “it” Android device, it is still good to see more hardware companies joining the mix.
